Our challenge was to make Box Factory visible to businesses who would place large-scale orders and hide them from domestic and small businesses. This would save them valuable resource wading through unsuitable queries and help them continue to grow and evolve their business.
As always, we started with research. We looked at the traffic coming to the site, the current ads and search terms in place and we looked at audience both wanted, and unwanted.
We also looked at location targeting. Box Factory are ideally situated in the heart of the country, so we identified the key delivery corridors and targeted locations around those areas that were likely to have large businesses.
Working with the client and a copywriter, we created campaigns and web pages for multiple types of box and locations, looking carefully at the customer journey with each option. By placing specific ads within these categories and ensuring the landing page copy reflected the ads, we quickly increased both click through rates and enquiries.
By working with Box Factory to identify not just their target audience, but the audience they wanted to avoid, we were able to refine and improve their click through rates. Location targeting and improvements to the customer journey on their website meant we quickly helped them become more visible to their target audience.
Turns out, looking at the negatives worked out well for the Box Factory. So well in fact, they had to buy a bigger factory and more machinery to deal with all that new business. Another Net Visibility success!
